SUCCESSFUL SUBMERSIBLE CAGE PROJECT DESIGNED BY BADINOTTI WAS INSTALLED IN A MEXICAN FISH FARM
In the first week of May, our CEO, Christian Torres, traveled to La Paz, Mexico to visit our client Kampachi Farms to verify all the Badinotti products and services acquired by them. Firstly, the Oceanis 1 (submersible cage) operation, mooring engineering, mooring service and the Combinet, which are nets that mix textile fibers with steel or copper. On the other hand, this visit became an important tool to know more about the seriola potencial in the aquculture industry and to to predict in some way the potential of the Mexican market to become a fish farming country.
King Kampachi Mexico produce a fish known as “El Pez Fuerte” or Kampachi in California (Seriola rivoliana). The company wants to become the most reliable, largest, most efficient and best-quality Kampachi producer in the world.
Regarding the OCEANIS 1 submersible cage, this was redesigned according to the client specific needs. The submersible cage advantages is that allows fish farmers to develop activities in an exposed and unprotected sites, also it protects the farming from hurricanes and other wheather conditions, and at the same time reduces visual impact. Likewise, fish farmers can achieve a significant quality improvements, compared to fish grown in traditional sites.
Combinet is part of Badinotti´s new line products developed by professionals, that combine textile fibers with metals to improve resistance and the abrasion level. Clients, together with the technical advice and the commercial department can mix different fiber options, to obtain specific attributes and defined the product results.
