| The system is intended for areas where
the mussels are pelagic and thrive in the upper water levels. The
mussel farm consists of several on-growing units, which are permanently
in water. The units are adapted to each site using PE pipe for buoyancy with the mussel-collector running the length. |

| It is also an aesthetically good
solution, as the pipe length is less visible than when using
traditional buoys or rafts. Husbandry and harvesting is done in the
water without dismantling/reassembling the collector or buoyancy. It
also has simple mooring and handling, is easy to move with or without
mussels and has gentle motions in waves.

| The system is well tested and is suited
for different locations from sheltered sites to open waters/offshore
with strong currents. Current up to 4,5 knot/wave up to 7 meters significant. |
