Quality mooring systems are critical for the efficient operations of fish farming facilities. Mooring systems ensure that fish farming and aquaculture cages remain in their specific marine surface positions. This is very important as these structures face a variety of environment conditions.
Badinotti Marine provides mooring services throughout the coast of Chile and EMEA. Our 11 vessels are well equipped to handle activities in the southernmost areas of the world and have experience in facing challenging marine conditions.
One of the first steps to an aquaculture or fish farm project is the selection of the most suitable site. An error in the site selection and evaluation stage can negatively impact profitability, operation costs, and production capacity. Site suitability relates directly to fish mortality, health, and welfare.
Badinotti will help you with the first step of the project, if the site is still not selected, will be to identify the marine zone more suitable for the fish farming species selected.
We offer R.O.V. inspections of all aquaculture and fish farm equipment including cages, nets, and mooring. Our inspections provide a detailed report of the underwater farming center configuration. R.O.V. inspections assure you that the correct anchor position has been reached on the seabed.
An anchor test is critical to verify the holding power of the selected anchor. We test the holding capacity of the selected anchor using a 2-3 day testing period, depending on the distance from the harbor and the existing weather conditions.
