Net coating is very common in the aquaculture industry. It provides waterproofing and adds greater durability to the cages, improving their overall performance.
Badinotti Group provides all types of net coating for the industry, using water based and other products. Antifouling is the most used coating. Our coatings are supplied by our exclusive provider, the Norwegian company Steen Hansen and its AquaNet series.
The Antifouling impregnation service is offered by Badinotti Group in its Net Services Stations located in Canada, Chile, and Slovakia.
The AquaNet series is a water-based antifouling system, designed for fish farming nets, resulting from 30 years of experience, development and tests carried out in close cooperation with the aquaculture industry. The range of products offered in this series has been specifically developed to provide complete net protection throughout its useful life.
The net impregnation service is offered by our Service Stations, which involves immersing nets in tubs of antifouling paint to avoid the incrustation of organic material in the net during the fish farming process. This helps to reduce the cost of net maintenance (increasing its time in the water) by preventing the incrustation of algae, crustaceans, and mollusks. Badinotti currently has a strategic alliance with the Norwegian company Steen-Hansen, which has a wide array of products that are recognized for their high-quality standards and more efficient and ecological uses.
